A little refresh

I like Django a lot, I seriously do. Django’s strength is the extreme speed at which you can write webapps. For Appengine Django seems a bit like overkill. Therefor this blog is now driven by Werkzeug+Jinja2+WTForms.

Working with Werkzeug and Jinja2 is not as easy as it is with Django, mostly due to the lesser Documentation. This is where Django really shines!

The change was worth it though. If it’s just to get rid of all the monkey patching.

Apart from that I have disabled the AddToAny buttons as well as the Hyphenator script, which added soft word breaks to the text but screwed with copying text and added a slight flicker when it redrew the page.

I will soon push the changes to the github repository, please be patient.
