Hanoi--Where a 3km ride can take 45minutes

The traffic in Hanoi is just terrific. Streets are crowded with vehicles ranging from a wheelbarrows and mule, horse or ox-pulled carts through cyclos and bicycles to motorcycles, cars, buses and heavy trucks.

Today we went from Trần Đại Nghiã to Khâm Thiên with a cab. The total distance was roughly 3km and it took us an insane 45minutes. We were lucky to sit in a cab that only charged 15.000 đ/h.
